Creepy Crawlies

Yesterday we found the nastiest bug in my house. It was a 31/2 inch centipede. Riley found it hanging out where we keep the baby toys. I captured it in a Tupperware so the kids could get a good look and I could show people that we were not making up the creepiness. I looked it up and found out that it is venomous. To adults it is like a bee sting and not dangerous unless you are allergic. However for little kids it can be dangerous. That really freaked me out. At first Ryan wanted to keep it as a pet. Then he joined the "SAVE THE CENTIPEDE" campaign and lobbied to have it released. I was totally against it, I wanted it disposed of, but he won and released it back into the wild. It better not come into my house again. It will not be as lucky next time. Those pincher's on the end were about 1/2 inch long. OOH Gross!!
